Its great that someone has ported an Apple II emulator the the Wii. I knoSo if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears. The Oregon Trail is a computer game originally developed by Don Rawitsch, Bill Heinemann, and Paul Dillenberger in 1971 and produced by MECC in 1974. I have a few images here (like Oregon Trail) that are in color on the IIgs.will. The art styles and flashy stuff have my interest.

I'm especially interested in the shiny gacha games as of late. I think I'd rather rot my brain on a game than Reddit when I'm lounging around or waiting for someone. The Oregon Trail / Works on all Apple II, IIe, IIc, & IIgs Computers. I always have my phone and my Switch isn't exactly pocket sized. Fully featured Apple II emulator, compatible with Raspberry Pi models 2B, 3B, 3B+. I think it's time I start giving mobile gaming a chance again.

Like a bowl of cereal milk left in a cupboard, it now seems to flourish with life from within rather than poorly emulating games from without. I'm becoming more and more interested in this world I've turned my back on. However, it seems that in the best 10 years (but especially the last 5), some developers have really made mobile gaming it's own unique subset of videogames, developing games that really take advantage of the platform. In an earlier article on The Rocket Yard, I mentioned the work done on another way to try out old Mac apps Macintosh.js.

They never felt like "true" videogames to me, but poor facsimiles of console and PC games with horrible feeling controls, poor gameplay and terrible art styles. As with the Apple II machines, there are classic Mac games and apps available. I've historically never really played mobile games.
